Pinchas Vontz

“Alright, I admit it: it didn’t actually happen. But that doesn’t mean it’s not true.”

After Peer Gynt, by Henrik Ibsen

available for production

About the Play:

Pinchas would borrow any folktale, and invent a few of his own, to lie his way out of trouble and escape from the shtetl. He seems to be succeeding, until he finds himself becoming a character in his own stories.
