I will be attending the Shakespeare Theatre Association meeting in Cincinnati on January 18th, 2018, to participate in a “table session” on “Shakespeare Companion Plays”–plays that Shakespeare companies might consider presenting along side of their Shakespearean repertoire … i.e. plays like SHYLOCK’S BEARD, SEVEN LECTURES ON HAMLET, A PUPPETEER WITH THE PALSY PERFORMS SCENES FROM SHAKESPEARE, BENEFIT PERFORMANCE, and GOT YOUR BACK.

My play, Seven Lectures on Hamlet is getting a script-in-hand reading THIS MONDAY in the Arcadia Lobby of the Proscenium Theatre at the Drake, on Hicks St., off Spruce between 15th and 16th. It is directed by David O’Connor, and features the astonishing Bi Jean Ngo.

My play Shylock’s Beard, which won the Award for Excellence in Playwriting from the Association for Theatre in Higher Education., is getting a script-in-hand reading at the ATHE conerence in Chicago next week. If you’re in Chicago, come to the Empire Room of the Palmer House Hotel, at 5PM on Saturday August 13.
